shipping: assumed cr/ au/ slowburn/ plot device (i.e. fake dating, meme compulsion ["you have no choice"]), preference for m/m but also not opposed to him figuring that out by completely fumbling m/f if you're okay with that. canon, cross-canon if you can fit them into g witch, same goes for ocs. not opposed to AUing him into some other circumstance and paralleling his "doll"/replacement role, either, but it's not my default for him.

+: #4 is not a very good fit for fluff or aimless things. g witch itself is fairly serious, relentless, and dark. whether it's the subtler side of his deterioration due to the permet in his system, or a more precanon take on his isolated nature in the school for nosy types etc, #4 acts and reacts when forced or chasing something (the hope of bonding with suletta mercury for example), because otherwise he will just ignore a situation and/or leave. back up against the wall fits his general predicament. interested in cr that will push him until he breaks whether it's in a "for your own good" mindset of wanting to help him or just to get answers out of him given how vague and withheld he is.

high performance output, loses only once on record to suletta mercury. his first and last defeat. able to use gundam technology but outstrips his limitations (as did his predecessors.)

going off of what little canon shows, will say he's a reader in part to inform him how to act but also to fill the void that would come with having all your memories taken, as well as someone else's face and body now 'yours'. it seems he's fairly intelligent book-wise, but the same can't be said for emotionality. it's not that he lacks feelings, but he's severely guarded, and likely also doesn't see much point in them as far as being useful to his survival.
experiment
as he is enhanced person #4, there must have been 3 others before him if not more (who knows how peil tech handles these things.) like the others before him, he was remade to look exactly like the actual Elan Ceres. in addition to that, his memories were erased. enhanced persons are guinea pigs for permet experimentation, pushing the limits of what a human being is capable of with the penalty for failure death either in execution or the body finally giving out on the enhanced person. #4 knows this, and is aware they have (it would seem) someone else waiting in the wings to replace him when that time comes. though his motivation to survive is supposedly to get his original face back as well as a citizenship number, we have very little to go on with why he would have agreed to all of this in the first place. the only memory of his we see is a first birthday and vague at that. given that he is straight up incinerated early on in the canon we're given, all threads remotely in-verse happen before that obviously or with canon-divergence or for a complete AU.
i'll vary playing him depending on the thread/meme whether precanon or canon timeline. in canon timeline i tend to play him closer to the end of his run, making use of his declining health/deteriorating body, the uptic in the permet (coming across as bright red scores under his skin that glow, for anyone not into g-witch, temperature spike, heartrate over-drive, breath difficulty, etc), and his closer-to-the-breaking-point conflict about his absent memories and the likelihood that peil technologies never intended to make good on their promise but just to use him up.
